Intro
THIS WORLD, THEN THE NEXT is the ship between Magnus Vasile Karpov, Mercedes Kavita, and Sebastian LaCroix. Their dynamic develops before and during the plotline of Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines.
Their relationship is entirely based on my interpretation and spacing of the VTMB plotline. In this modified lore, both Magnus and Mercedes were embraced prior to that of my main Kindred (Brienne). As such, they've worked alongside LaCroix and the Camarilla, as well as their respective clans' primogens, prior to the drama of the Ankaran Sarcophagus.
Due to the timeline of events, their polyamorous relationship ends when the Anarchs sneak explosives into the Sarcophagus and blow up the Camarillan tower. It is to be determined whether Magnus and Mercedes survive, or if they were not present during the final questline.
