Born and raised in the Sunshine State, Ambrose had a surprisingly boring life growing up. Not a fan of the beaches, and coming from a background where annual trips to theme parks wasn’t a viable financial investment, ey spent most of eir time hanging out at the local parks and driving around late at night with friends.
While in high school, Ambrose met with recruiters through the school’s JROTC program and enlisted with the military when ey turned 18. During eir enlistment, ey went to Florida Atlantic University and earned an Undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Ey was also certified in Human Resource Management.
Ey mostly remained stationed within the state, and ended up on base with Canadian military personnel to assist with Operation FOUNDATION by developing civil works programs. While stationed here, Ambrose met Matteo Pichette and the two almost instantly became close friends. Every down moment they had on base, the duo found themselves hanging out, studying, or causing some chaos here and there. Though, one day, their bond got a lot more interesting.
Late one evening in 2018, Ambrose received numerous texts and video recordings of Matteo and a giant, jellyfish-like anomaly floating in the sky. Amazed, Ambrose joined a crew of soldiers in meeting Matteo out on the wooded highway, where ey found the specialist. Ambrose asked Matteo about what’d happened, and it wasn’t long before ey were (alongside Matteo) pulled away from service and into the custody of the Foundation. Ey gave a testimony to the personnel handling the incident and eventually took a position within the Foundation as an Engineering Specialist. Ey worked hard in maintaining containment structures, and through exposure with other personnel, ey later specialized and worked up a position within MTF Epsilon-11.
