MISC. INFO
Chelsea's hearing loss is a combination of genetics and loud environments (growing up around farm machinery and such). She is still considered hearing, but the impairment does impact her day-to-day life.
Chelsea is a mix of Australian Shepherd Dog and Australian Cattle Dog. As such, she has appearance and personality features of both breeds. Overall, she is wonderful with children and fairly affectionate with friends and family alike.
Chelsea's presentation of ADHD is a less common type, and is defined as the person showing signs of hyperactivity and the need to move constantly and display impulsive behavior. They often, if at all, do not show signs of getting distracted or inattention.
BACKGROUND.
Born in the lovely coastal town of Portland, Victoria, Chelsea lived an average, if a bit energetic, life alongside her family on their massive farm just outside the city limits. Their farm's operation was variable, with land designated for both agriculture and animal byproduct alike. Portland was home to mostly human and humanoid myths, and as such did create some tensions whenever the Parker family would find themselves in town. Of course, things rarely escalated beyond sneering and "lowkey" comments made toward the parents of the bunch, with Hamish's family having been notable fishermen in the region before the town saw its modernization and expansion. Still, things only grew worse as anti-myth rhetoric rose during the formative years of the Mythic War, and the family would find themselves between a rock and a hard place.
As she grew up, and the war waged on, Chelsea found herself sat amidst several talks between her family and various units of the Fantasmal Forces, the mythics' armed forces, discussing the amount and types of supplies they could provide for their ranks. Their family agreed to shift their distribution and provide the majority to the Fantasmal Forces, whilst still selling remnants locally (opposed to the Australian government) and creating a rations stockpile should things escalate further in the region. Chelsea saw the violent tendrils of the war seep into her life, both due to the rising sentiments at home and through the stories of the various Fantasmal soldiers who, on occasion, would stay the evening at their homestead whilst on their way to the Casterton Airfield to depart to the frontline. Though, even as the war ended (at least, on the legislative front), things were slow to return to "normal".
Despite this, Chelsea did well to build themselves up and dig their feet into the dirt. They would not be thrown out of their family's home, damned be the consequence. So, Chelsea stayed on the property and eventually came to take over the farm's operations with her siblings. All six of them share equal ownership over the property, allowing their parents to retire happily on the homestead. Chelsea, after a few years of stabilizing the ropes of management, even managed to re-establish a beneficial, working relationship with the Australian government, and thus rebranded the farm under a new name that soon spread over the commercial industry: Crown Paws Ranch.
As one of many faces of Crown Paws Ranch, Chelsea makes it known that not only can these endeavors be done with consideration to the land, but that it can be done ethically—without the mistreatment, or in dire cases outright torture of—myths like them.
