MISC. INFO
Ivett is heavily based on the androids from Detroit: Become Human, however is not associated with the canon due to the canon’s problematic writing. She is the product of Spacer’s Choice, a Halcyon corporation. Please do not ask me to roleplay her within the Detroit: Become Human universe.
Despite having no need to, as her non-human nature is visible and apparent, Ivett likes to wear human clothes over her robotic form.
Ivett’s “blood” is made from primarily propylene glycol, silver, thorium (specifically thoriated tungsten in the form of wires), and deionized water, among other similar chemical compounds that create a biocompatible coolant. Think antifreeze + PC liquid coolant but fancy.
As a companion, Ivett provides the Unplanned Variable/Captain Hawthorne +10 Leadership, +20% damage to Marauders, and +20% Science Weapon Damage.
BACKGROUND.
The primary project on Gorgon was managed by Spacer’s Choice and funded by the Ambrose family. The goal of this project was to create a performance-enhancing drug, known by the name of Adrena-Time, that would increase the productivity of employees. Unfortunately, this drug had unintended side effects during its trial runs and created what many refer to as Marauders. Due to the horrific failures of this project, it was defunded and abandoned.
Yet, before the scientists fled the asteroid, Angique created Ivett in an attempt to gain control over the test subjects.
Ivett was designed to be as sturdy as traditional automechanicals with the Al functionalities of systems such as ADA. Angique dubbed Ivett to be an android. Androids, according to Angique’s research notes found in the research lab, are machines that closely mimic humans in appearance and structure. Internally they feature biocomponents, synthetic organs that roughly mirror the organ systems of humans, and a mixture of chemicals that circulates energy and electronic information throughout the android body. Androids appear as bare, plastic-white human bodies, with a few sections colored in gray or blue. The human-like outer skin is only present on the face, and is made up of a synthetic fluid that covers the body; the androids’ hair is similarly generated. The outer skin and hair can be activated and deactivated partially or fully, switching between the semi human and plastic-white appearance. This retraction or deactivation is controllable by the android, but also happens in case of damage, due to the fluid automatically retracting or due to the damage itself. At least some models can alter their appearance with this, such as change their hair color at will. On their right temple, they bear a circular LED that visibly identifies them as androids and lights up and/or flickers blue, yellow, or red, according to the amount, strain, and quality of an android’s mental processing, physical condition, and their emotions. During the evacuation of Gorgon, Angique was killed by a group of Marauders who had overtaken the lab, and thus Ivett was left behind on the asteroid.
She watches over the labs to the best of her ability, and has tried to make contact with the outside colony to no success. Wilhelmina Ambrose is aware of Ivett’s presence, but has sent nobody to extract her, as she has no personal use for the android.
