BACKGROUND.

Born and raised up in the Whitetail mountains, Jolene lived a fairly standard life alongside her family. From an early age, Jolene took an interest in sports and mountain climbing, and went on to compete in the county’s junior baseball team. She also learned basic survivalist skills, including emergency first aid from her mother. Growing up with two other sisters was always a fun challenge, and inspired her charismatic and competitive nature.

As she grew up, she took up the batter’s position for the Hope County Baseball team and worked numerous volunteer jobs across the county. Unfortunately for the county, Eden’s Gate planted their seeds and began to take over regions within the county. The Whitetails were included in this, and it wasn’t long before the Whitetail Militia formed. Naturally, Jolene fell into the ranks and (for a time) genuinely fought alongside her fellow townsfolk.

At some point, Jolene fell in love with a man named Terry Weaver. The two had met while on patrol nearby a fishing lodge, and immediately became two peas in a pod. At some point, though, Terry stumbled across the path of the cult, and became infatuated with a woman named Juliette Avery. Their side-relationship remained under wraps for a few weeks, but once Jolene found out, there was Hell to pay. She got her immediate revenge by keying Terry’s car and slashing the tires, but took it a step further. Heartbroken as ever, Jolene ended up sleeping with Juliette and exposing his role within the Whitetail Militia to the cultist who, in turn, helped Jolene find herself “on the path” and turned Terry into the Seeds. Terry was never seen again, and Juliette was inevitably killed in the crossfire between the cult and militia.
