Due to the events of canon, Jovelyn gains supernatural abilities after traveling to Joseph’s Sanctuary. These abilities are as follows, and are only applicable after Joseph Seed has returned to New Eden:

LEAP OF FAITH — Additional jump height. Rabbit can jump approximately 2-times the average vertical jump height for women (16-20 inches). This jump can also be applied for standing long jumps. The crutch is that these jumps can be physically harmful if she lands wrong, or it can wind her due to the sudden change of orientation.

GHOST — While crouched/sneaking, Rabbit is temporarily harder to detect by humans. This ability will drain some of Rabbit’s energy, and can be activated/deactivated seemingly at will. The crutch is that she has to be focused to ensure the ability remains active.

EDEN’S GIFT — Increases the regeneration of her health and stamina, which the prior abilities pull from (non-canon, as the canon abilities are powered by “Eden’s Gift”). Rabbit, despite her small stature, becomes harder to take down and can take down individuals almost twice her size. The crutch is that the ability to take down others requires her to have the advantage of stealth, as in standard combat, Eden’s Gift provides her a reduced hemorrhaging rate (takes slightly longer for her to bleed out).

Jovelyn’s ADHD presents itself in numerous ways, including the trouble she has multitasking, her excessively restless nature, and her overall trouble coping with stress and intense events.

The nickname “Rabbit” came from the Twins, due to how skittish Jovelyn was at the time of capture and for her short stature. She took it as a badge, however, and will often refer to herself as Rabbit.

BACKGROUND.

A young woman born in Hope County, Montana, Jovelyn was a young teen when Joseph Seed and his cult unleashed nuclear hellfire onto the region. She and her family barely escaped, taking refuge underground in a cramped bunker. Watching the world end and being stuck in a hole in the ground with barely enough to survive made her lose hope, and tried to end her life the day it happened. She has a deep scar on her wrist right wrist from the incident, and her right hand has nerve problems due to it.

She joined Thomas Rush’s crew in her mid-twenties, wanting to give back to the world and contribute to the rebuilding of society… And to take down the Highwaymen. Jovelyn was on a train passing through Hope County when it was ambushed by the Highwaymen. Death and destruction surrounded her once more, and all she could do was run to the river, where the Twins confronted her and her security team. They only laughed as she escaped their grasp, making it their goal to hunt her down and watch her bleed.

Alone, with nobody but Carmina Rye and her mother, Jovelyn’s main goal is to save Rush from the Highwaymen’s grasp and take down the Twins herself.
