BACKGROUND.

Born and raised in Byzantium, Lucien was raised with a very set mindset when it came to how one was expected to live one’s life. Appearance was first and foremost, followed by one’s work. Personal maintenance and happiness were merely optional conditions. A “normal childhood” did not exist in Byzantium.

Lucien's parents spent the better portion of his childhood and teen years grooming him into the model citizen, sending him to school to become a bureaucrat for the Board. This specialized education gave Lucien a dangerously silver tongue, and had taught him that unless he was on top, he was a failure to the colony. He grew colder and ruthless in his practices, and has no qualms backstabbing those close to him, so long as it benefits himself or the Board.
