BACKGROUND.

Mikhail is a native inhabitant of Russia, born and raised in Yekaterinburg. Mikhail enlisted with the Soviet Union upon his coming of age, and stayed within the city as a law enforcement officer with the Union. He rose through the ranks fairly quickly due to his prowess and allegiance to the Union, and was eventually promoted into a position in which he became a prison guard for one of Russia’s most infamous prisoner of war centers. Mikail was present when Alexey was imprisoned, and he was the officer who murdered his then wife.

This event, alongside many others that sprawled across the nation, were the reason that as soon as the Union collapsed, Mikhail grew distasteful toward the ideology he had been so very conditioned into. He began to use the deep web for information on the government, and joined an organization of hired assassins. He was further trained to become a silent killing machine, and ended up taking over the organization when its leader was executed by the Russian government.

Mikhail took a great pride in his newfound position of leadership, focusing his operations in Eastern Europe. While walking home one evening, he ran into a young teen on the street who “had a wild look in her eyes”. Mikhail managed to convince her to come with him, as the winter was coming around once more. This homeless teenager was none other than Valeriya Khorkin, and she quickly became Mikhail’s prized prodigy in exchange for a consistent source of food and shelter. Mikhail was a harsh teacher, yet a soft fatherly figure for Valeriya, and it was not long before the duo had found a forlorn, familial comfort within the other.
