IT'S MY BIRTHDAY AGAIN!! (2026)

I survived another year! Today is my 26th birthday. I started writing this page in the last week of Feburary just to make my job easier, since I've frankly had a lot of trouble balancing things so far this year.

I got myself a few early gifts, which was my new office setup! I used my tax refund to buy a new desk, PC, and monitor setup on credit and that's how I've been working on so much lately! That said, I also unexpectedly had to buy a new microphone because my previous one wouldn't work; the system won't register USB-A microphones and only recognized the 3.5mm ports as audio compatible.

I ended up falling asleep before the Chinese GP happened, but I woke up to the perfect birthday gift: Lewis Hamilton podium! But also, Kimi Antonelli making history as the youngest pole sitter! Very proud of him.

Then when I woke up, I got the rest of my gifts! The two I got early (Friday and Saturday) were the Anthology Edition of His Dark Materials (3 books in 1), and the NYX Demin eyeshadow palette. The gifts I woke up to were a massive case of pony beads, bracelet string, and a small Huion drawing tablet! I wanted to get one since I knew ibisPaint is also on desktop now, and it'll be nice for times I feel like just chilling and drawing (opposed to drawing while I'm at work).

A few gifts were mentioned as coming late, so I'll update this page with a stamp when I get them!

One of my best friends, Hev, commissioned the incredibly talented 666Chevy to draw one of my favorite blorbos... Miss Laverne Alba (my primary GTA Online OC)! Like, look at this:

This is stunning! Seriously go check out Chevy's work, they're amazing. Hev gave me the gift early since I had to message her to confirm some things for her birthday gift. Like. How dare she Uno reverse it like that!!! Joking, of course, I love Hev and her chaos so much.

One of my other best friends, Delia, wrote me some customized Dorian Pavus x Inquisitor!Reader headcanons about an incognito day out that were so cute. She also got me Werner's Nomenclature of Colours: Adapted to Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Mineralogy, Anatomy, and the Arts as an ebook!

I also did commission a portrait of my Rogue Trader, Rembrandt (they/them), for myself but that will come later! Will also add that with a stamp ^_^;

I'm once again having the same macaroni recipe we made last year! It's just too good to not have. We make oven-baked macaroni and cheese with pepperjack, sharp cheddar, and white cheddar for a nice, really cheesy dish.

We also got another Publix cake, and this time it was the Chocolate Ganache one which was so fucking rich. That chocolate is amazing.. I could barely eat a slice after dinner! But god if it didn't hit my sweet tooth.

All in all, it was a pretty chill day. My plans were really to just play Rogue Trader and chill, since I've been enjoying the game a lot!
